Dr Katarzyna Dębska’s research focuses on gender studies, the sociology of family life and intimacy, feminist theory, the sociology of culture, social inequalities, and qualitative research methodology. Her doctoral thesis examined sibling relationships from a life-course perspective. She is currently working on a project exploring the experience of being a son. She has published in Polish and international academic journals. She is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sociology, University of Warsaw, and a lecturer in Gender Studies at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as on the Gender and Sexuality programme at the University of Warsaw.
